Quality Assurance Engineer
- Contribute to the improvement of the product by ensuring consistent high quality
- Design, configure and code automated tests
- Perform manual testing on a recurring basis (releases every 2 weeks)
- Document test scenarios/scripts
- Do penetration tests
- Academic degree in Computer Science or proof of equivalent working experience (several years in IT)
- Knowledge of Java, a Java IDE and how to handle the debugger as well as SQL and RDBMS
- Familiar with our technology stack (Java / Spring / Hibernate / JavaScript / HTML 5 / CSS3)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and knowing how to figure out stuff
- Experience in troubleshooting applications and scripts by accessing and analyzing logs
- Ability to take initiative and get things done
- Work experience with our tooling pipeline (GIT, gradle, JUnit / Selenium / Jenkins, Sonar, JIRA etc.)
- Knowledge of Linux
- Tools like bash, grep, ssh, openSSL, vi, tail, sed and tcpdump ring a bell!
- A clear understanding of basic network concepts/services
- Good understanding of IT-Security and relevant related skills (e.g. PKI, Certificates, Ciphers, Keystores, OWASP)
- Work experience with testing tools and environments (e.g., Cypress, Appium, Device Farm…)
- English (mandatory)
- French or German (considered a very welcome plus)
